THE LOVESEAT AT SAIFI VILLAGE

For our second stop, we chose Saifi Village, a beautiful residential neighborhood in Beirut, Lebanon, made up of a group of buildings that has recovered its original, traditional and oriental Lebanese appearance, integrating the pleasant dwellings into their appropriate surroundings.

The triple arcades, the wooden window frames, the arabesques, the old wrought irons, the pillars, the various simple but beautiful decorations are displayed under the red tiled roof with colors ranging from reddish ocher and yellow to white and blue.

The Saifi district, which once included Souq al-Najjarin, Carpenters' Street, has now become a residential neighborhood. As for the shops whose facades open onto the alleys and passages, they are now art galleries, antique and souvenir shops, bookstores, cafes and restaurants. Tourists, passers-by and simply curious wander through here, flowing day and night and like a swarm of bees giving life to the capital. Beirut continues to be the Pearl of the Orient, a light that illuminates the entire Mediterranean and the dream city of millions of vacationers.

Looking through it, we notice a strong connection to our AMINA loveseat from ETRO HOME. This unique piece, distinguished by its velvety blue color gradient and multicolor trimming background, is inspired by the Arabian tale of the Thousand and One Nights.

Driving through the city and passing through the beautiful streets on the way to Saifi Village, we couldn't help but be reminded of the similarities between Lebanese and Italian cultures and reminded ourselves of ETRO HOME's belonging to this enchanting and dazzling country, Lebanon.
