BABEL CHAIR TRAVELLING TO BATROUN

BABEL CHAIR TRAVELLING TO BATROUN

Ahlen Ahlen!!! Feel welcome and at home, because Lebanon in the summertime has a long way of mountains, spring forests, and wonderful coastlines.

This time we decided to continue our trip to one of the most visited coastal cities in summer in recent years and this city is called BATROUN.

This time we packed the BABEL chair, an iconic piece from the ETRO HOME collection, with a nomadic history, inspired by world travel. The Babel seat is a folding travel chair, but it maintains a refined and luxurious throne shape. Thus, the essence of the collection’s journey is enriched with a touch of irony, the story of the journey emphasized by the symbolic presence of a suitcase, a trusted companion in distant lands so dear to the brand.

From our ETRO HOME showroom in Beirut, the trip took us about 40 minutes passing along the hectic and colorful Highway that unites all the towns of Lebanon to reach our destination.

Batroun is defined by its clean sea, it is an important beach tourist center with a lively nightlife that includes pubs and discos, its old streets full of stones, and they invite you to walk in it to discover the magic that this town holds for tourists from all over the world to her.

The city has historic Greek Orthodox and Maronite churches. As we toured, we found the charming cobblestone market, a popular destination for visitors, among the sandstone-vaulted arches you will find merchants selling a variety of products and inviting you with their smiles to try them. The weather was hot, we could not finish this trip without trying one of the delicious drinks that this place offers, the limonade.

A tour full of laughter and anecdotes, that kept us with a happy soul and managed to find the perfect corner where you capture in a single photo the beauty of the ETRO Babel chair and Batroun.

Welcome to discovering Lebanon with us! A country full of open-minded, cheerful, tolerant, and helpful people, we continue our journey so do not miss our next destination whether you are a native or a tourist planning to come back and visit the land of love.
