BLENDING “CORINTO SOFA” IN THE UNTOUCHED SANCTUARY OF
DBAYE COUNTRY CLUB

Horses!! Horses represent power and beauty throughout the world with their captivating awakening of spirit and divine strength. Historically, it has been associated with wisdom, luxury, elegance, and nobility. Because of this, horse art can blend aesthetically with a variety of settings.

The story of the Arabian horses’ projects us to different platforms of intellectual and religious levels. Horseback riding is a religious ritual as it is believed to improve both physical and mental health. Furthermore, a spiritual feeling for the bond that exists between horse and rider cannot be compared to a man-to-man connection.

Dbaye Country Club, was our choice this time, its location was dictated by following the rhythm of nature and the presence of horses. A new environment that affects our perceptions and alters our reality that we always point out in our blog and ETRO HOME mission in Lebanon.

The abundance of natural beauty was overwhelming. The landscape of this place, was full of vibrant colors, from the lush vegetation of the trees to the vibrant wild flowers that stimulate our senses.

Every step of the way, we were surrounded by majestic horses; they held our attention from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The air was alive the melodious songs of the horse’s footsteps, and the gentle whinnies provided a soothing background soundtrack with their, Tap, Tap, Tap! and their neighing, Hiiii, Hiiii, Hiiii! they were snorting with joy as if they are welcoming us to a world of serenity.

Lastly, I have to say, the trick to get the perfect photo of our CORINTO SOFA with these beautiful god creations was easy. Just offer them Carrots!! Yes! Carrots!! It the best horse treat.

CORINTIO SOFA presents the figure of Pegasus, historical symbol of the brand, it is the unexpected protagonist of this sofa. The horse’s head and wings hand carved in a dark patinated wenge finish are inserted into the front and side of the sofa. Its sides are upholstered in brown leather, like all the accessories used in the equine world, and its seats are covered in the typical paisley fabrics of the brand in red color.

A perfect combination, which ultimately resulted in the uneasy relationship between the man-made world represented by the “Pegasus” and nature represented by the “Horse”, as well as revealing the hidden inspirations of pride and prejudice.
